If anyone knows anything specific about the old Manheim Rock Theatre please post here.  I am interested in finding out when they first opened the doors, when they shut down, who was running the place, and who played there.

Photos greatly appreciated.

The Manheim Rock Theatre did not have a long life. I suspect it opened in 1973 or so and was in existence for less than a year. The only band of renown that I know for a fact that played there was Elf with opening act Josh 1/19/73. I attended this show. Elf featured Ronald James Padavona who later changed his name to Ronnie James Dio. Other versions of this now defunct theatre were the Manheim Theatre, The Manheim Adult Theatre (not sure of this name), the Manheim Borinquian Theatre (Hispanic movies), it was also a country and western theatre of some kind.
