I never liked the Spectrum,,.. I think it was the folks (from Jersey obviously) pissing in the trash cans in the mens room. Ugh. I saw my first Dead show there 1978. I saw Genesis there 1985 or so.
And while I never liked it much either, I'm surprised at how I feel about its passing.
In a way it was like a playground. Maybe some of the kids pissed in the trash cans, but while I was there (especially with "concert" seating) I felt like it was my place.

They called it the Rectum in my business...
And while I never liked it much either, I'm surprised at how I feel about its passing.
